Lori Harris' debut album A Different Kind was a bit of a surprise to review. An incredible work...ranging from bluesy jazz to southern-roasted country tracks that make for a diverse album and a joy to listen to...stellar for a local release. The whole album is a solid piece of work and well worth obtaining for anyone who enjoys their CCM soulful and their lyrical content with breadth and depth.

Lori's new CD radiates pure joy, masterfully blending Lori's rich vocals with skilled instrumentation and compelling lyrics. Each song illuminates the experience of growing and maturing as a disciple of Christ.

Lori speaks the truth, deep truth, in love and brings encouragement and life to our hearts. Her messages in song show the gracious love of the Father to His children in all of our seasons. Wherever you are in your place of need, there's a message for you in this album.
