Wow does God show up when you ask Him to. When I willingly admit that I have nothing of my own to give and invite the Holy Spirit to just say whatever He wants through me, beautiful words flow. From out of the overflow of God's heart this mouth speaks. He ministers...and everyone receives blessing! Hallelujah! God is the Lord and in Him is Life forever. Can I hear an amen? I am so grateful for the new friends I made through this experience. May the bonds we formed go on always!

Wow, did the Lord God ever come down! Rain DELUGED our world in the moments before the concert, but by the time we began, a gorgeous sunset glowed red and amber against the green of our Midwest summer. I'd purposefully kept my set flexible so the Lord could reveal just the right tunes to sing for this crowd, and the words He ended up speaking through EVERY SONG AND SPEAKER were PERFECTLY aligned with one theme: HIS LOVE! It was so strong on my heart to encourage people to knock down any walls that may prevent them from truly experiencing Jesus' love tonight, for it's His love that changes us. Turns out everyone else listened to Him, too.

This turned out to be solid ground indeed! He reminded me of this verse on the drive home: Ephesians 3:17 "...that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE may be able to comprehend...what is the width and breadth and depth and height--to KNOW the LOVE OF CHRIST that passes knowledge--that you may be FILLED with all the FULLNESS OF GOD."

Perfect!

Amazing people, inspiring stories, intense need for encouragement, perfect place for the Lord God to come and infuse people with His goodness. Indeed that is what happened, and I was honored to simply be there, let alone be someone who could lead them in songs of worship. They came, they received, they left better off...or so they said. They were glowing, though, so I believed them.

You can go back home. And I highly recommend it. The ladies I met for tea time, both old friends and new in my old home church, blessed me with their attention as I told my story of God's faithfulness--how I got from there (age 13) to here (age 36) and some of the highlights in between. Something wonderful happens when you encapsulate that many years in the presence of people who knew you when....

Oh my gosh, did God ever come and move. Ladies, that was awesome. Ministering with you all was such a breeze, such a joy, I am overwhelmed with memories. All I know is, He called us out into the wilderness to woo us to His heart... and to tell us things we needed to know to go on with Him from there... and to really knit together His women! Loved it all. Love you all. Coming back next year!!!

Wow. Finally enjoying the covering and prayer of strong leadership and a body who is dedicated to rightly dividing the word of truth AND passing it onto the hungry masses in unapologetic doses...that is a powerful protection and one I fully intend to honor. It's working already. Thank you, ALBC. Blessings forever.
